Size guide

All measurements in centimetres. This guide covers the knitted crewneck in the adult and dog version. Every garment is knitted, not cut - tolerances are ±1.5 cm.

The adult sweater

The sweater has a relaxed, oversized fit with dropped shoulders. The chart shows garment measurements, laid flat. Size down for a closer fit, size up for an extra oversized look.

How to measure

A - Chest width: measure straight across the widest part of the chest on a sweater whose fit you like, laid flat. Compare with the garment chest width in the chart.

B - Length: from the highest point of the shoulder (at the neckline) straight down to the hem.

C - Sleeve: from the shoulder seam to the cuff. The dropped shoulder makes the sleeve feel shorter than the measurement.

Size chart - adult (garment measurements in cm, flat)

Size A - Chest width B - Length C - Sleeve Fits chest circumference
XS 55 63 52 80–88
S 58 66 53 88–96
M 61 69 54 96–104
L 64 71 55 104–112
XL 67 73 56 112–120

Between two sizes? Choose the larger one for the intended oversized silhouette.

Matching as a couple: the sweater is unisex, and the couples in our imagery often wear different sizes of the exact same garment. Go by your own favourite sweaters — not each other's.

The dog sweater

The dog sweater is knitted in the same yarn and pattern as the adult sweater, with a ribbed collar, ribbed leg openings and a shorter belly panel. The fit is developed around long-backed, deep-chested breeds - the dachshund is our fit model.

How to measure your dog

A - Back length: from where the collar sits (base of the neck between the shoulder blades) to the base of the tail. Measure with the dog standing.

B - Chest girth: around the widest part of the ribcage, just behind the front legs.

C - Neck girth: where the collar normally sits.

Size chart - dog (the dog's body measurements in cm)

Size A - Back length B - Chest girth C - Neck girth
S approx. 30 40–46 26–30
M approx. 35 46–54 30–34
L approx. 40 54–62 34–38

Knitwear stretches around the girth, but the back length is fixed. If your dog is between sizes in girth but right in length - go by the length. If the back is longer than the size states - go up one size.

Breed guidelines

Every dog is an individual - the measurements above always decide. But as a starting point:

Size Often fits
S Miniature dachshund, chihuahua, miniature pinscher, yorkshire terrier, pomeranian
M Standard dachshund, pug, jack russell, cavalier king charles, bichon frise
L French bulldog, cocker spaniel, cockapoo, border terrier, shiba inu

Deep-chested breeds (e.g. french bulldogs and dachshunds) may need one size larger than their weight suggests - the chest girth decides, not the kilos.

Care

Dry flat, machine wash at 30 degrees on a wool/delicate cycle, gently reshape. Applies to both sweaters - they are, after all, knitted from the same yarn.
